Help Us Save The Great South Bay
For future generations
It’s our bay, our heritage — and our legacy. We grew up clamming it, sailing it, swimming in it. Now our bay is sick, and we must heal it, for today and for the future!
Save The Great South Bay is a local 501(c)3 non-profit that actively works to restore the bay, and with that, strengthen our South Shore communities.

About Our Organization
defending our creeks
Our Creek Defenders help the 50 creeks flowing into the Great South Bay move freely by removing debris and monitoring invasive species.
restoring oyster habitatÂ
Oysters eat murky water for lunch. The Great South Bay Oyster Project restores oysters and their natural filtration capabilities to the Bay.Â
Planting bay friendly
We are restoring habitat for local wildlife by putting back what was here long before we were through the Bay Friendly Yards program.
Be involved. Be informed. Make a meaningful contribution through service and involvement.
