Soleil Soiree

October 11, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Come support The Coalition to Save Hempstead Harbor, and Save the Great South Bay and help raise funds for a clean harbor and a clean bay!  On October 16th between 6-9, at Soleil New York, an 1858 Firehouse / custom furniture store in the heart of Roslyn, will be hosting a get-together and silent auction featuring live music, local food and drink, and the opportunity to purchase locally made custom furniture and art.

Soleil produces gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces that grace many fine homes throughout Long Island and New York:

Included in the silent auction will be plantings from Save The Great South Bay‘s “Bay Friendly Yards” program!  Native plantings are more beautiful, are less expensive to maintain since they don’t need fertilizers, pesticides, or extra water, and help filter and clean the groundwater before it reaches our bays.   Together with The Coalition To Save Hempstead Harbor, our mission is to help heal our waters while making our yards and communities more beautiful.   Here below is a sample of the sort of offerings we provide:

Also included in the silent auction will be artwork from Sayville’s Susan Brown, a prominent Outsider Artist whose works are much sought after by art collectors.   Click here to learn more of Susan and her career.   Here are some examples of her local artwork.
