Can Long Island Be Saved? Part II — Public Forum on Water Quality and Resiliency May 12th, Theodore Roosevelt Executive Offices

In The Huffington Post on May 14th, 2014, I published Part II of Can Long Island Be Saved.  The meeting was largely about the importance of creating an ocean outfall pipe for a rebuilt Bay Park Sewage Treatment Plant. Without an outfall pipe, the high nitrogen effluent will finally finish off what’s left of The Western Bays, new plant or not.

Ocean Outfall  Now or Never!
