Each year, The Great South Bay Society stages a fall clean up of the marsh islands off Amityville. Led by Creek Defender Todd Brice, they scour the islands for trash. Drift wood, plastic bottles, shotgun shell casings (from duck hunters), and odder things like a TV for instance. It's quite a flotilla! Come down to Amityville this Saturday and be part of the adventure!
